Love At First Sight Is Possible, But It Pays To Take A Second Look…

One Less Bell To Answer…

January6

The greatest debate of all. Male Vs Female. The ultimate challenge of life. The superior sex, the most intelligent, the most decisive, the fastest at getting ready… All open to interpretation.

Kel and I are no different from anybody else. We, of course, have our xx vs xy issues like anyone else. Our latest thing is house hunting.

My dream home:

Yes, because 1970′s decor and a house full of 6 kids is amazingly appealing… Though Kel would look amazing in those white pants with a perm!!!

And Kelly’s dream home:

Seriously, every man’s dream! Tools and toilets as far as the eye can see! Spas, paint, wood and now a cafe with a playground! Living the dream baby!

So, we are on the hunt. Another rental to begin with and then, after seeing how we like a different area, we’ll buy.

The whole process is doing my head in already and we’ve only just begun. Now, this has nothing to do with Kel. He is amazingly down to earth and easy going about the process. He is happy so long as it has bedrooms, is close to public transport and, as a bonus, has a shed. I, however, am the stereotypical female who goes beyond what is 4 walls. The house needs to be in a good location, close to schools, close to shops, relatively low suburb crime rate, not on a main road, not smell bad and so on and so on and so on.

Don’t get me wrong, I am not a princess who wants a place in Peppermint Grove… I want all of my needs within a budget that still sees me being able to not wear afformentioned low cut, knicker showing pants and, in turn, will ultimately see me saved from my upcomming pole dancing career.

Honestly, it is my gift to society!

So, the question I have been asking myself, is it now true the male is this relationship the superior sex for being relaxed in a situation that really shouldn’t carry a lot of stress. Or, is the female’s stress in the situation endearing and actually sensible?

I actually believe once more that is has worked out evenly. The two elements can be extremely frustrating and whilst do, in some cases, come to head mean we will end up with something perfectly fitting.

And when all else fails at the end of the day, the thing that keeps me going is this. Kel is colour blind and has left all colour schemeing to me, no contest.

I’m thinking a lovely and gracious shade of pink with bright orange undertones and green polka dots on everything, including his work shirts…

No? Back to the drawing board. ;-)

(Author’s Note: Apparently this isn’t rainbowy enough, so given I missed yesterday I will sparkle it all up later on  )
